C-Curve Pinching Clamp

A practical tool for shaping the perfect C-curve.

The nail pinching clamp creates an optimal c-curve in an artificial nail. It may be used on artificial nails created on a form as well as on natural nail overlays and tips.

How to use:
Gel: Once you have applied your first layer of gel, cure for approximately 15 – 30 seconds in a UV light (5sec in LED).
Remove nail from the UV light and apply the clamp.
Place the finger back into the lamp to cure for the full curing time.
Acrylics: After pinching the acrylic nail with pinching tweezers and/or pinching sticks, place the clamp and let the acrylics set properly.
The Pinch Clamp must be placed securely over the nail, from the middle of the natural nail along the entire length of the extension.
Place it at exactly the same point on each side of the nail to ensure equal pressure which will create a perfect C-Curve.
Pinching MUST NOT be a painful experience for the client.
If done incorrectly it may damage the natural nail. When in doubt, consult a Johens Educator.
